Are You Facing A Difficult Situation?

In Joshua 1, Joshua was facing a difficult and challenging situation. He had the intimidating job of following Moses as the leader of the Children of Israel. He had the task of leading God’s people into the promise land and in the fulfillment of prophetic promises mades hundreds of years before. Moses didn’t make into the promise land. The first generation didn’t enter because of their unbelief.

Now, Joshua is called to do what seems impossible. He has a challenging situation in front of him. However, God’s instructions to Joshua will also help you overcome challenging situations and accomplishing the impossible.

Joshua 1:8 (AMPC) says, “This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.”

What was Joshua’s path forward? How was he to deal with challenging and impossible situations? The Lord told him to meditate on His Word. Biblical meditation is defined as studying God’s Word, thinking on God’s Word, pondering His Word, speaking God’s Word, and imagining His Word.

Biblical mediation is your path forward this week. It is how you will elevate, conquer challenging situations, and achieve seemingly impossible outcomes. We dive into this topic even more in today’s podcast devotional. Stream it and share it with someone you know that needs to hear it and be encouraged.

Remember, May is your month of increase! Let’s believe God to increase, flourish, and thrive in every area of our lives. Meditate on the increase God has for you. That is part of living Ephesians 3:20 everyday. This month, I want you to daily say, “May Is My Month Of Increase.”

I am praying for you! I am praying that God increases you and causes you to flourish in every area of your life! Remember to pray the daily prayer for 2026 and know that God loves you and His plan for your life is good. After you pray the daily prayer, pause and take time to listen. Always remember, prayer is not complete until you take time to listen. There is peace, safety, increase, and direction in waiting and listening.

We are reading through the Bible this year. Today’s reading plan is located at the bottom of this newsletter. If you want a pdf print out of the plan, click here.
