Good Morning,

2025 is rapidly coming to a close. In order to be successful, advance, and experience what God has for us in 2026, we need to live by wisdom. If we do not live by the wisdom of God, we will go into the a new year with old habits, old mindsets, and disappointing results.

Wisdom is the correct application of knowledge and information. Through wisdom, we understand what changes we need to make in our lives. According to James 1, we gain wisdom from God by specifically asking for it in faith. Today, I want to share a prayer for you to pray everyday in 2026.

Why? We need wisdom for every area of our life every day. As we pray and receive wisdom, we are growing and increasing in wisdom. Wisdom is vital for all times, however you are going to need it in 2026. Pray this prayer today and every day throughout the coming year:

Father,

I thank you that you give wisdom. You told me that if I ask for wisdom, you'll give it to me. So, Father, I ask for wisdom concerning my day today. Wisdom for every single area. Wisdom for every single conversation, wisdom for all the things I know I need to handle, and then wisdom for the things I don't know that I need to handle. You know it. And so I ask for wisdom for those areas that are right now out of my sight.

I ask for wisdom for all the things that I'm working towards this year. Grant me wisdom today so that I can take another step toward the goals that I have for this year.

Father, I pray that you, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you. I pray that the eyes of my understanding are flooded with light, that I may know what is the hope and the expectation of Your calling and invitation for my life.

I pray that You may fill me with the knowledge of Your will, with all spiritual understanding and insight. Help me to walk worthy of the call.

Father, I desire today to increase in wisdom, so I thank you that I can hear Your voice. I thank you that I know your voice and the voice of a stranger I will not follow. I thank you for sending the Holy Spirit who will lead me and guide me and show me things to come.

I receive the direction, the wisdom and the help. And I thank you for it. In Jesus name, Amen.
