Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles.

Good Morning,

Happy Monday! This is going to be a great week for you! Last Monday, we shared that this will be a month of success for you. If you missed the newsletter, make sure you read it. As you journey through this successful month, you need to pay attention to your words.

Proverbs 15:4 (NKJV) says, “A wholesome tongue [is] a tree of life, But perverseness in it breaks the spirit.” The writer reveals that a wholesome tongue is a life giving tree with special abilities. On Thursday, we shared that words are seeds and grow and produce harvest. Understanding that truth, a wholesome tongue and a tree of life have been cultivated overtime to develop into a place where it is indeed a wholesome tongue and a tree of life. It didn’t happen over night. There was diligent application of speaking the right words consistently that led to this point.

In order to receive the benefits of Proverbs 15:4, we need to consistently pay attention to the words of our mouth. We must diligently retrain our tongue to speak what God’s Word says we should say. This isn’t a quick, one minute effort. This is a lifestyle that we must commit to. It is an important part of the lifestyle of faith that pleases God.

Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.” The NLT translation says that those who love to talk will reap the consequences.

What is the consequence of a lifestyle of speaking God’s promises, lining your words up with His wisdom, and being disciplined with the words of your mouth? Your words become a tree of life that brings wonderful change. This opportunity is available for you today. Don’t let it pass you by. Commit to this lifestyle and you will see wonderful results. Pay attention to what you say and adjust as necessary.

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, thank you for loving me. I thank you that all your promises are trustworthy. This will be a successful month for me. I ask for your help and your wisdom as I set goals for this month. I thank you that you never leave me nor forsake me. I thank you that you hear and answer prayer. You are my source and the Holy Spirit leads me and guides me into all truth. Help me to move forward and accomplish my goals and the things I need to handle this month. Help me to sow and be a blessing to others. I receive your help, wisdom, and strength. Thank you! In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
