I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles.

Good Morning,

Happy Thursday! The weekend is almost here! Last Monday, we shared that this will be a month of success for you. If you missed the newsletter, make sure you read it. As you journey through this successful month, you need to pay attention to your words.

We have been reading Proverbs 15:4 this week. Let’s back up to verse 1 today. Proverbs 15:1-4 says, “A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger. 2 The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, But the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness. 3 The eyes of the LORD [are] in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good. 4 A wholesome tongue [is] a tree of life, But perverseness in it breaks the spirit.”

Our words are important. They have creative power. They have the ability to encourage and strengthen, but also the ability to hinder and break. The wise person knows how to use their tongue wisely and rightly. They understand the importance of their words and know how to speak life into people and situations.

As we have covered, our words are seeds that can grow into trees of life. What type of trees are you sowing into your spouse, your children, or your community? We have to make sure we are speaking the right things about ourselves and others.

It’s not just about “speaking the truth.” Ephesians 4:15 says that we should be “speaking the truth in love.” We should be known for our life giving words. It’s part of the lifestyle of faith. Are your words creating your desired result? If not, it’s time to make a change. Let’s make the change and keep growing together.

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, thank you for loving me. I thank you that all your promises are trustworthy. This will be a successful month for me. I ask for your help and your wisdom as I set goals for this month. I thank you that you never leave me nor forsake me. I thank you that you hear and answer prayer. You are my source and the Holy Spirit leads me and guides me into all truth. Help me to move forward and accomplish my goals and the things I need to handle this month. Help me to sow and be a blessing to others. I receive your help, wisdom, and strength. Thank you! In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
