In this week’s newsletter and podcast, we have been discussing the fruits of goodness and kindness. Goodness is the foundation that kindness flows from. Kindness is goodness in action, useful, beneficial, being a blessing to others, sweetness in dealing with others, the ability to act for the welfare of those taxing your patience, and is the state or quality of being kind, courteous, and friendly.

When people reflect on the Christmas season, they reflect on the peace, joy, goodness, and kindness of the season. Think about it this way. When you allow the fruit of the Spirit to develop in you and be displayed through you, people can experience the true Christmas through you.

It’s time for people to experience Christmas through you. When people come in contact with you, they have the opportunity to interact with the kindness and goodness of God. Why? Because when you were born again, those fruit were placed within you. Let’s end today’s devotional with the affirmation I shared yesterday, say this with me, “I am a partaker of the goodness of God, so I am kind.”

Show me the areas that I need to adjust and the habits I need to change. I receive your help, wisdom, and strength. Thank you for leading me and guiding me! Thank you for being with me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
