Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2026! We are in a brand new year, so let’s stay full of faith, hope, love, and expectant to see the goodness of God in every area of our lives. Let’s set s.m.a.r.t. goals in direction of the plan of God for our lives. I truly believe that we will see God fix things in our lives in 2026.

In order to navigate this new year, build successfully in it, and enjoy all God has for you, you will have to live by His wisdom. It is creative in nature and available to each and every one of us. As the passage says above, a house, a life, a family, a home is built by skillful and godly wisdom.

We live in the Information and Artificial Intelligence Age. We are flooded with information, knowledge, and opinions. Wisdom is the correct application of knowledge and information. Through wisdom, we understand what changes we need to make in our lives and what knowledge to accept and what knowledge to reject.

To help build an expectation and a framework for you to operate in God’s wisdom this year, I want you to read through the wisdom books of the Bible with me in our Faith+ Reading Plan. Today, we are reading Proverbs 1 and James 1. In our Faith+ app and going forward in this newsletter, you will see reminders to help you stay on track with this plan. If you stick with this plan, you will read through the entire Bible in one year.

This is our year to live in wisdom like never before. Here is a prayer for you to pray everyday in 2026. It’s a prayer to help you receive and live by God’s wisdom. I encourage you - pray it every day this year.

I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles.
