It’s the weekend! Let’s have a great weekend remembering how much God loves us. God is filled with kindness and He is for us! Kindness is the quality of being friendly, generous, helpful, and considerate toward others through intentional and voluntary actions.
Ephesians 2:4 says, “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us.” Mercy is kindness or goodwill joined with a desire to help those who are in need of help. God’s kindness flows from His great love for you. God loves to show you His kindness.
Ephesians 2:5-7 says, “even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in the heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in [His] kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.”
I love what Ephesians 2:7 reveals. God wants to show off His kindness in our lives. He doesn’t want to show off in Heaven only. He wants to show off in our lives now and forever more. Today, I want you to meditate on that wonderful truth. We’ll share more about it on today’s podcast.
