Happy Tuesday!
Psalm 5:11-12 (NKJV) says, “But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You. 12 For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as [with] a shield.”
We shout for joy because God defends us. We are joyful because God blesses us with favor as a shield. There is a connection between the favor of God and happiness and joy. God wants us to be happy and joyful.
On Sunday, I began a series about God’s desire for us to be happy and I asked a question to my congregation, “Are you happy?” Let me know your answer in the poll below. God actually cares about our happiness. It’s important to Him. There is a fulfilling way to live the happy, joyful and holy life. I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me. Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles.
