When I reflect over my life, I often say, “The Lord is so kind to me.” I make much of His kindness. Psalms 145:17 (NLT) says, “The LORD is righteous in everything he does; he is filled with kindness.”
God is filled with kindness. When we talk about our amazing and wonderful God, we describe Him as powerful. And He is! We describe Him as awesome. And He is! Sometimes we forget, He is also kind.
Kindness is the quality of being friendly, generous, helpful, and considerate toward others through intentional, voluntary actions. God is kind to you. Doing a kind deed for someone is also known as doing them a favor.
We’ve spent many newsletters and podcasts discussing the favor that God wants to show you. Why does He want you to experience it? Because He loves you and He is filled with kindness.
