Malachi 3:10

[Mal 3:10 NKJV] 10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this," Says the LORD of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you [such] blessing That [there will] not [be room] enough [to receive it].

✏️ Notes

The phrase pour out means to empty out.

What happens when Heaven is poured out on earth?Your life begins to look like Heaven.

Matthew 6:10 (NLT) May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Heaven is not far away

Revelation 21:2 (NLT) And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.Most people’s closed heavens are between their ears. You live under an open heaven. Let’s renew our minds and expand our faith today as we learn about an open heaven.

Deu 11:21 (KJV)That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

Deuteronomy 28 is a famous chapter that defined the blessing and the curse.

Deuteronomy 28:12 (NKJV) “The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.”

An open heaven is part of the blessing. 

Living under an open heaven is your covenant right. 

The rains of the Spirit are a part of an open heaven and they all belong to us as our inheritance.

Under an open heaven, the blessing is poured out on all the work that we do.

Deuteronomy 28:15 begins the explanation of what the curse is. It lists all types of sickness, disease, and illnesses as part of the curse. It even includes every sickness and disease not even written as part of the curse.

Deuteronomy 28:23 (NKJV) “And your heavens which [are] over your head shall be bronze, and the earth which is under you [shall be] iron.A closed heaven is a curse.

Galatians 3:13-14 (NKJV) 13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed [is] everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.Redeem means to recover from the power of another by paying the purchase price 

Galatians 3:29 (NKJV) And if you [are] Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
We are not a cursed people. We are a blessed people. Christ has redeemed us from the Curse of the Law.

In Genesis 28 - an open heaven was over a place.In John 1, an open heaven is over a person.

Gen 28 & John 1 show that increased angelic activity & ministry is connected to an open heaven. Don’t forget the angels. 

“Are not all the angels ministering spirits sent out [by God] to serve (accompany, protect) those who will inherit salvation? [Of course they are!]”Hebrews 1:14 AMP

📖 SCRIPTURE PASSAGE

Psalms 78:23-25

“Yet He had commanded the clouds above, And opened the doors of heaven, Had rained down manna on them to eat, And given them of the bread of heaven. Men ate angels’ food; He sent them food to the full.”

✏️ Notes

Psalms shares that the Children of Israel lived in the wilderness under an open heaven. 

They lived under an open heaven for almost 40 years.

They were unbelieving and rebellious, yet they experienced an open heaven. They were under an old covenant and still experienced an open heaven.  How much more can you experience as a new covenant believer who’s been washed in the Blood of Jesus and filled with the Holy Ghost?

Manna was poured out. Manna means what is this. '

Moses had to explain to them that it was God’s provision for them.

God has poured out and is pouring out manna for you. From now on, you are going to recognize heaven’s manna in your life.

You participate in an open heaven by the words of your mouth.
