Good Morning,

God has a new season for you! As Daniel declared in his prayer of praise, God changes the times and the seasons. Over the last two months at Faith Christian Center, I have been sharing about the new season we have entered. This is not a new season that begins on January 1st. It’s already begun and God has wonderful plans for you!

One of the things that keeps people from entering the new season God has for them is the way they see themselves. It’s the same problem that plagued the Children of Israel after they left Egypt for the Promise Land. They stood on the edge of their new season and refused to enter. Why? Notice the passage below.

“But the men who had gone up with him said, "We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we." And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, "The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. "There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight." Numbers 13:31-33 (NKJV)

It wasn’t the challenge that defeated them. They saw themselves as grasshoppers and they chose to believe their self-perception instead of God’s promise. As you go into your new season, you cannot see yourself the wrong way. You are a new creation in Christ Jesus. You are the redeemed. You are the forgiven. You are the blessed and the anointed. You are called by God and are here for such a time as this. Believe God’s promises and what He says about you!
