Today’s Scripture 🍞

Don’t worry about the wicked or envy those who do wrong. For like grass, they soon fade away. Like spring flowers, they soon wither. Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.

I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles. 

Today’s Devotional 📖

Good Morning,

Happy Monday! This is going to be a great week for you! As you start this new week, make sure that you are focusing on the right thing. Last week, we covered that God loves you, He is good, and He wants to give you the desires of your heart! This week, I want to help you focus on the right thing so you can go forward in God’s plan for your life.

Verse 1 of Psalm 37 tells us to not envy those who do wrong. It may seem like they get away with everything, things are working out for them, and they seem to get ahead by living in a way that is against God. The Scripture says don’t envy them. Why? If we start envying them, we will eventually imitate and follow them. If we are envying them, we are focused on them instead of what God has called us to do.

Never allow someone else’s lifestyle to keep you from enjoying serving God. Remember, He loves you, He is good, and He wants to give you the desires of your heart. Trust Him and keep living His way. Focus on what He has told you to do. As you trust Him, He will help you and establish you.

Don’t envy those who do wrong. Don’t lose your focus today. What should you do if you feel like you’re envying those who do wrong? Listen to today’s podcast. Today’s Prayer 🙏

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, thank you for loving me. I believe that you have good plans for my life. Help me to develop my faith and become a faith champion. Help me to stay consistent and faithful. Help me to stay focused this week and not envy those who do wrong. I believe I am going from glory to glory, faith to faith, and strength to strength. I believe that you love me, that you are good, and that you want to give me the desires of my heart. I trust you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
