The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe] and each of them He delivers.

Today’s Devotional 📖

Happy Thursday!

As you went throughout your day, did you know that there was angel with you? God has sent angels to help you. Hebrews 1:14 (AMPC) says, “Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?”

You are an heir of salvation. Every believer has at least one angel assigned to them. You do not have to see them in order to benefit from their ministry.

You benefit from their ministry by releasing your faith and watching the words of your mouth. As we read through the Book of James this year and continue to read through Proverbs, we see how much the Bible talks about our words. Your words impact the effectiveness of the angelic ministry you experience.

What does that mean for you today? Don’t fill your mouth with negative talk. Say what God says about you. Continually say things that agree with His Word and watch your mouth. Angels have been sent to help you accomplish God’s plan for your life and walk in your fixed steps. (I shared about your fixed steps for 2026 this past Sunday at Faith Christian Center.)

As you walk in your fixed steps, pray the daily prayer for 2026 knowing that God wants to give you wisdom and has sent angels to help you. Tonight, as you go to bed, know that angels are watching over you and fighting on your behalf. God loves you so much that He sent angels to help you.

In today’s podcast, I share more about angelic ministry. If you’re reading through the Bible with us this year, your chapter reminders are below. If you want a pdf print out of the plan, click here. Stream today’s podcast and share it with others. I’m praying for you!
