Today’s Scripture 🍞

Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding.

Proverbs 3:13 (NLT)

Good Morning,

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! I believe 2026 can be a year where we see God fix things in our lives in an unprecedented ways. We will see things align and transform in an amazing fashion.

However, its not automatic. I’m sure you’ve heard people say this before, “New Year, New Me.” Yet, nothing changes. Why? They entered a new year with an old mindset and old habits. In order to experience everything God has for us, we have to live by His wisdom. Wisdom is the correct application of knowledge and information. Through wisdom, we understand what changes we need to make in our lives.

According to James 1, we gain wisdom from God by specifically asking for it in faith. We also grow in wisdom by associating with those who live by godly wisdom. In fact, Proverbs 13:20 (NLT) says, “Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.”

One of the things that I love to do is sit with and interview wonderful men and women of God. I listen to their stories and glean wisdom that I can apply to my own life. It’s a small part of a way I live out Proverbs 13:20. I want to share a few of those interviews today.

Today’s Prayer 🙏

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, thank you for loving me. Thank you for loving me so much that you want to help and fix things in my life. I ask that you grant me wisdom and insight as I prepare for 2026. I receive your wisdom and I thank you for it. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
