Happy First Day of June!

It’s a brand new week and a brand new month. I believe God has great things in store for all of us this month and this Summer. The other day, while I was praying, I was going over what the Lord told us to say in the month of May. When I said it, I realized something else in my heart. I said, “May is my month of increase and in June I’ll be jumping for you.”

I realized that God has more in store. I don’t think it was just for me. I truly believe that God is going to do things this month that will cause you to rejoice and jump for joy.

Jumping for joy is an expression of praise. It is Biblical and right to praise God after something good happens. However, it is also Biblical and right to praise God before something good happens. In that way, praise is an expression of faith. As I heard a man of God say before, “Your celebration is a demonstration of your expectation.”

Psalms 67:5-7 (NKJV). It says, “Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. 6 [Then] the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us. 7 God shall bless us, And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.”

Praise precedes increase. Although we experienced increase in May, I believe God has far more in June that will cause us to jump for joy. In today’s devotional podcast, I share more about the power of praise and why you should praise before the miracle manifests. Stream it. You need to hear it and apply it. Share it with someone you know that needs to hear it and be encouraged.

I am praying for you! Remember to pray the daily prayer for 2026. After you pray the daily prayer, as I shared above, pause and take time to listen. Always remember, prayer is not complete until you take time to listen.
