Today’s Devotional 📖

Good Morning,

This is going to be a great week for you! God has wonderful plans for your life. When we start the week, we look at the things we have to get done and often consider the challenges that stand in between us and our goals. There are often obstacles that seem to block our way.

Today, I want to remind you of the encouragement the Lord gave Zerubbabel. He had an important project that God assigned him to complete. There were obstacles and challenges. However, notice what God told him through Zechariah.

“So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts. 'Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of "Grace, grace to it!” (Zechariah 4:6-7 NKJV)

Zerubbabel had an important, physical project to complete. However, notice God told him that His Spirit will help him get it done. You have a lot of things to get done this week and God sent His Spirit to help you. Remember how Romans 15:13 says we are to overflow with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

You can be hopeful about your week, overcome obstacles, and complete projects because the Holy Spirit is helping you. Allow Him to lead you, guide you, strengthen you, and help you. After you pray the prayer below, take time to listen for His instructions. He has help and wisdom for you today!

Today’s Prayer 🙏

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, I believe you love me extravagantly and you have great plans for my life. I choose to be hopeful about my future. Lord, I thank you that I can hear your voice. I open myself up to hear from you. Show me how to handle this week and complete all the projects and assignments that I have to complete. Thank you for leading me and guiding me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
