Happy Wednesday! Did you know that God had a top secret plan about you? It was hidden for ages and generations. The Scripture calls it a mystery.

The mystery is revealed in the first chapter of Colossians. It says, “the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:26-26 NKJV)

What is the mystery? Christ in you, the hope of glory. The first part of the mystery transforms everything. Christ lives in you. Christ is not Jesus’ last name. It shares Who He Is. When you see the word, “Christ” think the “Anointed One and His Anointing.”

The Anointed One and His Anointing is on the inside of you right now. It is not about feeling. It is about realization, acknowledgement, and belief that Christ lives in you. The second part of the mystery points to God’s plan for your life.

Hope is confident expectation of good. Hope always deals with the future. Since Christ lives within you, you can have a confident expectation of God’s glory in your life. In fact, that glory is meant to increase.
