Good Morning,
As we watch the headlines, we are reminded that we live in dangerous times. However, I want to remind you of something the Lord shared with us earlier this year. He said, “Draw near, don’t fear.” In troubling times, that is such a great reminder. We need to live fear free and draw near to Him.
Let’s take a look at Psalm 91:1-2 (AMPC) together. It says, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!”
God has a secret place for you that is the safest place on earth! One of the things I love about this place is that it moves! Why? Because a shadow moves. The secret place is our place of obeying and following the leading of the Spirit of God. The safest place to be is the center of the will of God for your life!
Verse one shares with us our responsibility to follow the leading of the Lord. As a result, we can be secure in dangerous times and steady in unsteady times. Next, in verse two, it gives us our second responsibility. Verse two points us to the words of our mouth.
Don’t allow the fear words of the world to fill your mouth. Instead, let words of truth and faith fill your mouth. Say this with me today, “Jesus is my Lord. He is my refuge and my fortress. He is my God! On Him I lean and rely. I confidently trust in Him!”
We will be traveling to a number of countries this week. I greatly appreciate your prayers as we travel and minister. Remember to pray the daily prayer for 2026 and know that God loves you and His plan for your life is good. After you pray the daily prayer, pause and take time to listen. Always remember, prayer is not complete until you take time to listen. There is safety and direction in waiting and listening.
In today’s podcast, I share more about the secret place God has prepared for you. Take six minutes to stream it today. It will encourage you!
