God’s favor isn’t supposed to be an irregular experience for you. It should be part of your everyday life. It should be a sign and hallmark for your life.
God’s favor and blessing is designed to rest upon our entire life. The big things and the small things. The exciting things and the mundane things. It’s supposed to surround and fill your life. Remember, Psalm 5:12 says that God surrounds us with favor as a shield.
Let’s take a look at what God told Abram in Genesis. Genesis 12:2 (AMPC) says, “And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others].”
Why did Abram have to leave? The answer is simple. Abram was not destined to remain in that place. God wanted to bless him with an abundant increase of favors. God had a place of favor and blessing for him. God has a place for you. Remember, when He leads you to do something, it is because He loves you. When He corrects you, it’s because He loves you and you belong to Him. He always has your best interest in mind. He always wants you to experience blessing and favor.
