Happy Tuesday!
It’s Election Day in America. However it turns out, refuse to fear. Keep your trust in God. Are you feeling anxious about the election? If you are, I want to encourage you to listen to the last few Rhythm of Rest podcasts. We focused on how to navigate this time free of fear, panic, and anxiety. Listen and share it with others.
As we continue our special time of prayer, I want to encourage you to expect to hear from God. Just as the prophet in Habakkuk 2:1 took his place in prayer, I want you to take your place! Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
We should boldly come to the place of prayer God has made available for us. We are not supposed to tip-toe into that place. We are to enter boldly because God has reserved a place for us and we belong there. Ephesians 2 shares that our place is at the right hand of God with Christ Jesus!
Wow! Isn’t that wonderful? We are seated with Christ in Heavenly Places. Let’s not neglect that wonderful privilege. Let’s keep that place in mind as we pray today.
