Faith In The Morning Daily Affirmation 🌅

I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles. 

Today’s Devotional 📖

Good Morning,

Proverbs 18:20 (NKJV) says, “A man's stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; [From] the produce of his lips he shall be filled.”

Are you satisfied with the direction of your life? Not just the overall direction. I want you to consider every area of your life. If you’re not, what are you continually saying about that area?

Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV) says, “ Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.”

Death and life are produced by what you love to say. Whatever you continually say is either going to give access to the forces of life or death in your life. The key to your success is consistency. The power is in consistency.

The KJV of verse 20 says it this way, “with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.” In the previous weeks, we covered what James 3 said concerning the power of our words and their ability to direct our lives. As we study these important principles, we must make a decision to apply what we learn. However, the application is not for when we “feel inspired.” The application has to become our daily habit and custom. In our consistency, we enter into the “those who love it will eat its fruit” results. In our daily application, we will experience “with the increase of his lips he shall be filled.”

Let’s keep growing in this area together! Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, thank you for loving me. I thank you that all your promises are trustworthy. I ask for your help and your wisdom. I thank you that you never leave me nor forsake me. I thank you that you hear and answer prayer. You are the strength of my life and I will live confidently in you. Help me to consistently identify with your promises and steer my life in the right direction. Help me to speak life-giving words and be consistent with the words of my mouth. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
