I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles.

Good Morning,

Happy Monday! Welcome to Fall! We’re entering into a new season, but we still serve the same amazing God! He is faithful even as leaves change, trends change, and the news cycles change. Since He is faithful, we can make the faith-filled decision not to panic.

When we panic, we make poor decisions that cost us down the road. Panic also causes us to make a pressure-filled moment worse. We live in challenging and pressure-filled times. However, we cannot succumb to the times. We must be full of faith, full of love, full of hope, and so grounded in God’s Word that we refuse to panic.

In Matthew 24:6, Jesus says, “And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don't panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won't follow immediately.” (NLT) One of the first commands Jesus gives gives us concerning the End Times was the admonition not to panic. Let that sink in.

In dealing with the drama of the End Times, we have to make the quality choice not to panic. You have to keep your cool and not lose your head. God gave you the helmet of salvation for a reason. (Ephesians 6:17)

We put on the helmet by applying Paul’s instructions in Philippians 4:6-7, which says, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, thank you for loving me. I thank you that all your promises are trustworthy. This will be a successful month for me. I ask for your help and your wisdom as I journey through the end this month. Help me to keep my mind focused on you and turn to you in prayer anytime I feel anxious. I receive your help, wisdom, and strength. Thank you! In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
