Faith In The Morning Daily Affirmation 🌅

I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles.

Good Morning,

Welcome to July! I am excited about July! Well, I am always excited about July. It’s my birthday month. It’s the birthmonth of one of my daughters. And, within just a few weeks, my wife and I will welcome our baby boy into the world. We are 37 weeks and are looking forward to holding him in our arms.

I have a lot to celebrate this month and look forward to, however so do you! Take some time this morning and reflect about what you plan to celebrate this month. Whether, it’s big or small, celebrate it and thank God for it. What are you looking forward to this month? Write it down and talk to God about it. Our expectation is powerful and positions us to receive the miraculous.

This month, we are continuing to read through the book of Isaiah. You can follow along with our Faith+ reading plan below. In today’s newsletter, I have refreshed the Extra Encouragement section. As we covered yesterday, in the tapestry of Christian faith, there are threads of divine power that weave through generations, connecting the past to the present and future. These threads, known as mantles, are more than mere spiritual concepts – they are tangible manifestations of God's power, passed down through time to equip believers for extraordinary works.

In yesterday’s podcast, Dr. Liardon and I discussed how mantles are often misunderstood or conflated with other spiritual gifts. Unlike anointings, which come upon a person, or impartations, which are received internally, a mantle is an all-encompassing cloak of spiritual authority. It's a fusion of anointings, impartations, giftings, and divine strategies that God bestows upon individuals for specific purposes.

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, thank you for loving me. You love me so much that you sent the Holy Spirit to live within me. As we learn about mantles this week, I ask that you grant me insight and help to walk in greater dimensions of your anointing and power. I thank you for all of these things and I receive them. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
