Faith In The Morning Daily Affirmation 🌅

I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles.

Today’s Devotional 📖

Good Morning,

Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! As we start this new week in a new month, let’s make it an amazing one! How do you make your week and month amazing? By not casting away your confidence.

Hebrews 10:35 (NKJV) says, “Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.” As I began to share in June, we are supposed to live this Christian life with confidence. The confidence of the Christian produces great rewards.

As we covered, this isn’t just any confidence. This is a supernatural confidence rooted in a relationship with God and an understanding of His grace and mercy. The confidence described here can be defined as boldness in action and speech.

Last week, a phrase I had heard from a man of God hit my heart a different way. He had said for years that he wakes up and says, “Today is my receiving day!” I wrote that on my write board at home.

This weekend, my seven year old read it and asked, “Dad, what are you receiving?” I said, “I’m receiving good things. I am receiving all the goodness, promises, and harvest that God has for me.”

Notice what I did. I wasn’t throwing away my confidence. I was boldly talking about my day. What I said wasn’t rooted in personal confidence, but rooted in God’s character and His Word. Remember, the confidence of Hebrews 10:35 is partly defined as boldness in speech.

Today, make your day amazing by speaking well of yourself, your spouse, your kids, your job, your boss, your day, and everything that concerns you. Don’t curse your day. Don’t speak bad things about your day. Speak God’s promises because today is your receiving day!

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, thank you for loving me. This will be an amazing month for me. I ask for your help and your wisdom. I thank you that you never leave me nor forsake me. I thank you that you hear and answer prayer. You are the strength of my life and I will live confidently in you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
