I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles.

Good Morning,

Happy Friday! Welcome to August! I hope you are doing well! On July 19th, my wife and I welcomed our baby boy, Kerrick III (Trey), into the world. Racquel and Trey are doing very well and we appreciate your continued prayers. Our daughters love their baby brother and try to spend as much time with him as they can!

Breaking News‼️

We are going to hold a special Georgia Pre-Order Event on August 17th for my new book, The Rhythm of Rest, at Faith Christian Center. What does that mean? July has come and gone. We are now in August. For many of us, our students are returning to school in the next few days or few weeks. August represents a time of new beginnings and an opportunity to embark on a course to finish this year strong. Knowing all of this, let’s make it an August to remember.

Hebrews 10:35 (NKJV) says, “Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.” As I began to share in June, we are supposed to live this Christian life with confidence. The confidence of the Christian produces great rewards.

As we covered, this isn’t just any confidence. This is a supernatural confidence rooted in a relationship with God and an understanding of His grace and mercy. The confidence described here can be defined as boldness in action and speech.

God has placed a dream in your heart. Don’t throw away your confidence. You are going to need the confidence to see the dream come to pass and to receive the great rewards God has for you.

As you you begin this new month, I want you to do the following:

1. Identify the tasks and goals that you need to achieve this month. (Write them down.)

2. Ask God for His wisdom and help in completing these tasks and achieving these goals. (Write down and do whatever He speaks to your heart.)

3. Put the list in a place where you will pass it everyday.

4. Every time you walk by, place your hand on that list and thank God for His help and wisdom and say, “I am completing my tasks and exceeding my goals. I have more than enough time to get things done. I am not frantic or anxious. I live in the peace of God.”

5. Once you complete the task or finish the goal, thank God for it and mark it as complete on your list.

As you do this, you will grow in confidence. This Sunday, at Faith Christian Center, we are praying a prayer of blessing and protection individually over every student and educator in attendance as they start a new year. We would love to pray for you and your student as well. If you are unable to join us in person, fill out this prayer request form with the student’s name, educator’s name, and the name of the school. We will make sure to pray for you as well!

I thank you that you hear and answer prayer. You are the strength of my life and I will live confidently in you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
