Today’s Devotional 📖

Good Morning,

In yesterday’s podcast, I re-shared that we should view this year as our championship year. As champions, we achieve goals, exceed goals, and break records. Every champion knows that some days and challenges are more difficult than others. When facing difficult days and challenges, we have to follow the instructions and hold on to the promise of Galatians 6:9. What is the promise? As we keep sowing the right seed and doing the right things, we will reap a harvest of blessing as long as we do not give up.

We cannot allow ourselves to get tired pursuing our goals for this year. If we get tired, we will eventually quit. How do we fight the desire to quit? In Psalm 27:13, we learn that we can conquer the desire to give up by believing that we will see God’s goodness in our lives. Don’t give up going after your goals. You will see God’s goodness manifest in your life!

As we set goals, achieve goals, and set new goals, we need to make sure that we are living in alignment to our assignment. Yes, God has an assignment, plan, and vision for your life. When it comes to goal settings for the believer, we should set our goals in the direction of our divine assignment.

The first time I ever heard the phrase of “live in alignment to your assignment” was from Tim Storey. At the top of the year, I sat down and interviewed him and we discussed goals, creativity, and more. I want to share part of that interview with you today in today’s podcast. I believe it will encourage you and help you refocus on your goals for 2025. You can stream today’s podcast on YouTube, Apple Podcast or Spotify. You’ll be glad you did!

Today’s Prayer 🙏

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, help me to refocus on my goals for this year. I ask that you strengthen me and help me to not grow tired in doing the right things. Expand my vision, grant me wisdom, and help me to overflow with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Something good is going to happen to you today. Keep moving forward! Want more encouragement? Check the links below and share them with others. Have a great day!
