Good Morning,
Happy Thursday! God has a great plan for your life. It is more wonderful than anything you have previously thought. So, let’s fix that. Let’s begin to think in alignment to what God has for us.
Isaiah 55:7-12 (NKJV), says, “Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. 8 "For My thoughts [are] not your thoughts, Nor [are] your ways My ways," says the LORD. 9 "For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. 10 "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, 11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper [in the thing] for which I sent it. 12 "For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap [their] hands.”
Wicked means twisted. In the beginning of this passage, we see the call for wicked people to stop living twisted and for unrighteous people to change the way they think. In verse 8, God proclaims that His thoughts and ways are higher than ours.
We must elevate our thinking. If we think the thoughts of God and live His ways, we get His results. How can you think the thoughts of God and live His ways? Proverbs 3 tells us what to do!
Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
When we constantly lean to our own understanding, we are not actually trusting God. Leaning to our own understanding will keep us in low level thinking and living. Our own understanding isn’t enough or high enough. However, if we let the Word of God inform our thinking and follow the Spirit’s leading, we can consistently live and experience the high life. Remember, May is your month of increase! Let’s believe God to increase, flourish, and thrive in every area of our lives. Meditate on the increase God has for you. That is part of living Ephesians 3:20 everyday.
