I hope you have had a great week. October is coming to a close and November begins on Sunday. I want to finish the year strong. Don’t you?
I want to invite you to join me for a special time of prayer from November 2nd - 6th. Every year, our Faith Family at Faith Christian Center and I take time to fast and pray over specific prayer points before the holidays begin. Many people pray and fast at the beginning of the year. I am all for that. However, we take this time every Fall to get a head start on the year so that we can finish the year strong and hit the ground running on the first of the year.
We are not praying to do a spiritual exercise. We are praying with expectation to hear from God. We are taking the position to hear like the prophet in Habakkuk 2:1. He said, “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say to me.” (KJV)
In today’s podcast devotional, I go into detail about the following prayer points for this special time of prayer and fasting. In regards to fasting, I am asking people to skip one meal and replace it with time in the Word and praying regard the below prayer points. If you are unable to fast food, replace your favorite tv show and social media time with time in the Word and praying over the prayer points.

The Election - For the elected candidates to yield to the plan of God
The Plan & Path - "Lord, what is your plan for my family and I for 2027? What goals should I set for the year?"
The Key Issue - "What is the key issue where I am concerned? What is the main thing I need to change, focus on, or correct in 2027?"
Giving Sunday - "What is my part of the Giving Sunday offering?"
