Goodness & Mercy Follow You!
“Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”
(1 Chron 16:34 NKJV)
Happy Wednesday!
Did you know that God has two wonderful things assigned to follow you? This week, millions of people are travelling for the holiday. They are travelling by car, bus, plane, and train. God has assigned two things to travel and follow after you all your days.
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.”
(Psalm 23:6 NKJV)
God is your Shepherd and He is a good shepherd. As your shepherd, He has assigned goodness and mercy to follow you all the days of your life. God’s goodness is His prosperity, good things, property, supply, and provision. It is good in the widest sense of the word and good to the farthest extreme. God’s mercy is His covenant love, His desire to bless you, and His abundant kindness toward you.
Wherever you are travelling this holiday season, know God’s goodness and mercy are with you and following you all the days of your life. You can expect good things to happen because God has assigned goodness to follow you. You can expect wonderful things to take place because God has poured out His kindness upon your life. This Thanksgiving, give thanks for God’s goodness and kindness toward you. As you give thanks, you are increasing your awareness of it, and you will experience it even more. Thanksgiving expands your capacity to receive. Giving God thanks keeps you in a place where you remember Who He is and what He is doing in your life. Goodness and mercy are YOUR portion.
I pray that you are having a wonderful week so far. We referenced travelling a few times in this email, what is your favorite way to travel during the holidays? Answer our poll below.
