Happy Tuesday!

During this Christmas season, we remember and reflect on the story of Jesus’ birth. We celebrate the truth that God loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son. Truly, when we think about it, we should all be able to come to the conclusion that God actually wants us to have a wonderful life. How do I know that?

What did Jesus say about the reason He came? The AMPC of John 10:10 says, “I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” That sounds like a wonderful life to me.

Here’s where people miss it: they think it happens automatically. When it doesn’t happen automatically, they assume God doesn’t have good plans for them and create reasonings, philosophies, and doctrines that discount the goodness of God. However, we must remember in order the experience the life God has for us, we must have faith and patience. As we covered in yesterday’s podcast, patience can be translated as cheerful, supernatural, and divine endurance. It takes that type of endurance to see our lives transform into what God has planned for us.

Show me the areas that I need to adjust and the habits I need to change. I receive your help, wisdom, and strength. Thank you for leading me and guiding me! Thank you for being with me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
