Good Morning,

Happy Monday! This is going to be a great week for you, so talk like it and expect it. Today, I want to share with you about the extravagant and extreme goodness of God.

In today’s verse, the Psalmist declares that God has goodness laid up and prepared for you. God has goodness reserved for you. Another way to say it, God has good things with your name on it!

As we read through Proverbs and Ecclesiastes, we learn about the importance of the fear of the Lord. The fear of the Lord is not being afraid of God. The fear of the Lord is reverential awe for God, His Word, and His ways. When we live according to the fear of the Lord, we are positioning ourselves for a public display of God’s goodness in our lives. That is one of the wonderful promises of today’s verse. This is what God wants to do daily for those who trust in Him and walk in the fear of the Lord.

God is so good and He has good things in store for you today. The NLT of today’s verse says it this way, “How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.” God wants to lavishly pour out good things on you today. Expect it, believe it, and walk in the fixed steps God has for you.

Today, pray the daily prayer for 2026 knowing that God wants to give you wisdom and has good things in store for you. After you pray this prayer, pause and take time to listen. Always remember, prayer is not complete until you take time to listen.
