For [God] gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who [is] good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that he may give to [him who is] good before God. This also [is] vanity and grasping for the wind.

Good Morning,

Happy Wednesday! God has gifts for you today! I’m so glad that our God is generous and loves giving gifts, aren’t you?

Today, in our Faith+ Reading Plan, we are reading through Proverbs and Ecclesiastes. Ecclesiastes 2:26 lists three gifts and a benefit that God has for you today. God desires to give you wisdom, knowledge, and joy. He wants your life to overflow with His wisdom, knowledge, and joy. God is not stingy in His giving; He generously gives past the point of overflow.

The latter half of verse 26 shares how God will cause good things to transfer from those who do evil to those who live His way. That’s a benefit for serving God! I truly believe we are going to see more good things transfer to us in 2026.

What does that mean for you today? Keep living right. Do not get jealous or envious; do not get caught up in social media outrage. Live according to the fruit of the Spirit and walk in the fixed steps that God has for you. (I shared about your fixed steps for 2026 this past Sunday at Faith Christian Center.)

As you live before Him, pray the daily prayer for 2026 knowing that God wants to give you wisdom, knowledge, and joy. Expect God’s intervention and help today. He loves you and He loves showering you with good gifts.
