Faith In The Morning Daily Affirmation 🌅

I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles. 

Today’s Devotional 📖

Good Morning,

Our focus is an important key to living the life God has for us. Yesterday, we shared how becoming envious of those who do wrong can throw off our focus. Our focus shouldn’t be on them. We should focus on God’s plan for our lives. Remember God loves you, He is good, and He wants to give you the desires of your heart!

A correct focus helps you move forward in the plan of God for your life. In verse 5 of Psalm 37, we are instructed to commit our way to the Lord. That phrase means we are to roll over all our concerns upon God. All of them.

Sometimes, we feel comfortable about bringing the big concerns to God. However, for some reason, we think we cannot bring the small concerns to Him. We internally think this is too small for the Almighty God and that we don’t want to bother Him.

It’s not bothering Him! He cares about the big things and the small things in your life! Why? He loves you, He is good, and He wants to give you the desires of your heart. When we roll our concerns upon Him, it shows that we trust Him and verse 5 promises that He will help us with those concerns.

When we do not roll over our concerns to God, we become distracted and lose our focus. God has an amazing plan for your life, but you must keep your focus. I share more on today’s podcast. You can stream today’s podcast on YouTube, Apple Podcast or Spotify. I’m praying for you! Have a great day!

Today’s Prayer 🙏

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, thank you for loving me. I believe that you have good plans for my life. Help me to develop my faith and become a faith champion. Help me to stay consistent and faithful. Help me to stay focused this week and not envy those who do wrong. Help me to roll all of my concerns upon you. I believe I am going from glory to glory, faith to faith, and strength to strength. I believe that you love me, that you are good, and that you want to give me the desires of my heart. I trust you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
