I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Good Morning,

Something good is going to happen to you today! Did you know that your God loves to give good gifts? The verse above states that every good and perfect gift is from Him. The Greek of that verse paints the picture of God’s good gifts pouring into our lives like a heavy rain shower.

There are two gifts from God that I want you to focus on today. Proverbs 20:12, says, “Ears to hear and eyes to see--both are gifts from the LORD.” These are more than just the physical ears and eyes. Thank God for those! These are also our spiritual ears and eyes.

Throughout the Gospels, Jesus would declare, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” Even in the Book of Revelation, he told the churches, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” In Matthew 13:10-17, Jesus shares about this topic and how people can lose their ability to hear. You don’t want to lose this important gift. You want to grow in it!

How do you grow in the gifts of hearing ears and seeing eyes and not lose them? When the Lord speaks to you, respond. As I shared yesterday, responding to God is vitally important. Even when you don’t fully understand what you are hearing, seeing, or perceiving, your conversation with Him is a response. As you converse with Him, He will make it clear for you.

God has an amazing 2025 planned for you; it’s important that you allow Him to lead you and guide you. Using the two gifts I covered today will position you to receive more wonderful gifts from God! Watch today’s podcast devotional below and check out the new links under extra encouragement.

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, I believe you love me extravagantly and you have great plans for my life. I pray that you grant me ears to hear, eyes to see, and a heart to perceive your leading. Grant me further clarity concerning my call and help me prepare for 2025. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
