But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT)

Good Morning,

Happy Monday! It’s the start of a brand new week. Let’s keep our expectations high and our focus clear as we move throughout this week.

One of the symbols of this season is a cornucopia. It’s a symbol of abundance and is usually pictured filled to overflowing with fruit. I believe that is a great picture of what God wants our lives to look like. Overflowing with the fruit of our salvation. In fact that’s what Paul prayed for in Philippians 1 and it is what I pray for you!

“May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation--the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ--for this will bring much glory and praise to God.” (Phil 1:11 NLT)

God wants us filled to overflowing with every good thing - especially the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). As you reflect over your life using the fruit of the Spirit as your mirror, identify areas you need to grow. Don’t condemn yourself! Just make adjustments. The Spirit of God will help you!
