As you continue through this week, remember you are blessed and favored by the Almighty God. His blessing and favor is designed to make you superior to your circumstances. When you face challenges this week, remember that God’s blessing and favor are working in your life.
Let’s continue to dive into the topic of favor. Favor positions you for purpose. We see that in the lives of Daniel, Esther, and Nehemiah. Nehemiah was a cupbearer. He was faithful. He was a man of excellence and a man of prayer.
He heard about a situation in his homeland. He prayed and prayerfully developed a strategy. Why did the king send him to complete the assignment? Why did he become a governor? The favor of God. Nehemiah prayed for favor (Nehemiah 1:11) and God granted him favor. The favor granted the position, resources, and influence Nehemiah needed to fulfill the plan God had given him.
God has favor for you today. As Psalm 30:5 says, “His favor lasts a lifetime.” It positions you for purpose and helps you take the fixed steps He has for you.
