I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend and pray that you are having a successful week! God’s favor isn’t supposed to be an irregular experience for you. It should be part of your everyday life. It should be a sign and hallmark for your life.
Psalm 5:12 says that God surrounds us with favor as a shield. It didn’t say it surrounds us only on special days or every once in a while. You are surrounded by favor everyday! There is even favor on your path!
Remember when God told Abram to leave his homeland? Genesis 12:2 (AMPC) says, “And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others].”
Why did Abram have to leave? The answer is simple. Abram was not destined to remain in that place. God had a path for him. God’s blessing and favor for Abram was connected to that path. God has a path for you. He also has blessing and favor for you!
God’s blessing and favor are designed to make you superior to your circumstances. Your circumstances are not supposed to rule you. You are supposed to rule them. As you walk God’s path for your life, expect His blessing and favor to make the difference in your life. In today’s podcast, we expound on this thought and the path that God has for you.
