As Christians, we are not supposed to throw away our confidence. We are to embrace it and employ it to get supernatural results. However, sometimes we throw away our confidence accidentally forgetting the importance of focusing our faith.

Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me. Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles.

Good Morning,
Happy Friday! Let’s the finish the week strong and get ready for a wonderful weekend! Have you ever thrown something away accidentally? You didn’t know it was there, forgot about it, and threw it away? I believe a lot of Christians accidentally throw away their confidence.
Hebrews 10:35 (NKJV) says, “Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.” As I began to share in June, we are supposed to live this Christian life with confidence. The confidence of the Christian produces great rewards.
As we covered, this isn’t just any confidence. This is a supernatural confidence rooted in a relationship with God and an understanding of His grace and mercy. The confidence described here can be defined as boldness in action and speech. We should speak boldly and positively about our day because we know our God, His character, His grace, and His mercy.
Many Christians throw away their confidence because they do not know its value or because they do not know they are throwing it away in the first place. Faith has to be intentional. It has to be focused. Your communication should reflect your confidence in God.
Often times our communication and confidence start out strong. However, over time, we forget what we were believing for, we lose our focus, we let our confidence slip, and we eventually throw it away. Your confidence has too great of a reward to be forgotten as a result of lack of focus with your faith.
Our confidence is not based on our natural ability, but our faith in God, His Word, His character, and our understanding of His marvelous mercy and amazing grace. Our communication should communicate our confidence. Today, be intentional with your faith. Don’t throw away your confidence and bold faith talk because a negative situation or because of a lack of focus.
