Don't Be Intimidated By The Impossible
It's time for your impossible to become possible! God has given you power to accomplish the impossible. Read today's newsletter to learn more and to start your day with faith and encouragement.
The angel replied, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God. What's more, your relative Elizabeth has become pregnant in her old age! People used to say she was barren, but she has conceived a son and is now in her sixth month. For nothing is impossible with God." Mary responded, "I am the Lord's servant. May everything you have said about me come true." And then the angel left her.

Today’s Devotional 📖
Good Morning,
Something good is going to happen to you today! Today is known as Giving Tuesday. No, I am not going to ask you to give to this devotional. I personally take care of the costs associated with the newsletter and podcast. Did you know that there are few thousand people who connect with Faith in the Morning via podcast and newsletter? Hundreds of them are part of my church, Faith Christian Center. However, hundreds are not.
This Sunday at Faith Christian Center, we have Giving Sunday where we are gathering to give above and beyond our normal generosity. I want to extend this opportunity to you as well. On this Giving Sunday, we are giving towards three categories: save, sow, and grow.
In the category of save, we are giving to strengthen the position of the church for the future. In sow, we are giving to local, national, and international ministries and organizations that are making a wonderful difference in this world. In grow, we are giving towards the creation and completion of Faith Park. (Faith Park will be located in front of our sanctuary.)
On Giving Sunday, we are not asking people to give a certain amount. We are not taking a pledge. We are asking everyone to pray about their specific contribution to Giving Sunday. We then ask for you to obey whatever the Spirit of God directs you to do.
As Daniel declared in his prayer of praise in Daniel 2, God changes the times and the seasons. Over the last two months at Faith Christian Center, I have been sharing about the new season we have entered. This is not a new season that begins on January 1st. It’s already begun and God has wonderful plans for you!
Does a new season sound impossible to you? As I shared yesterday, your God is an expert at doing the impossible in your life. Don’t be intimidated by the impossible. All things are possible with God and all things are possible to those that believe.
Gabriel told Mary that the impossible will become possible because of the power of the Holy Spirit. The power of the Holy Spirit is available to you and able to make your impossibles possible as well. Notice what Paul said in Philippians 4:13, “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” (NLT)
Christ is not Jesus’ last name. Christ describes who Jesus is. Christ means the Anointed One. When we talk about the Anointed One, we also have to talk about the anointing. The anointing is the power of the Holy Spirit. It was the anointing that strengthened Paul and enabled him to do what God called him to do. The anointing will enable and strengthen you as well.
You are not powerless. To paraphrase the old song, “you got the power.” Today, don’t be intimidated by the impossible. Every time you run into a difficult situation say, “I am not intimidated by the impossible. I can do all things through the Anointed One and His anointing which strengthens me.”
In today’s podcast devotional, I share more about this topic and pray a special prayer over you. Stream today’s devotional on YouTube, Apple Podcast, or Spotify and share it with someone who needs to be encouraged.
Today’s Prayer 🙏
Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, I believe you love me extravagantly and you have great plans for my life. Thank you for my new season. I will not be intimidated by the impossible. All things are possible because I place my trust in you. Help me to follow your leading today. Thank you for being so good to me. Thank you for strengthening me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
