As for these four youths, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom, and Daniel had understanding in all [kinds of] visions and dreams.

Happy Taco Tuesday!

God wants to grant you wisdom and skill that causes you advance and rise to the top. In today’s verse, we see that God did that for Daniel and his three friends. If God can do it for them, He can and will do it for you!

Daniel and his friends were approximately sophomores in high school when they were taken to Babylon. They were in a strange land, away from their family, and surrounded with foreign customs, languages, technologies, and lifestyles. However, they still rose to the top. Why? Because they made the firm decision to follow God and God granted them wisdom and favor.

If you find you yourself in strange circumstances that you weren’t prepared for, know that the wisdom and favor of God can cause you to be successful and rise to the top. Today, pray the daily prayer for 2026 knowing that God wants to give you wisdom and has good things in store for you. After you pray this prayer, pause and take time to listen. Always remember, prayer is not complete until you take time to listen.
