Happy Wednesday! Today, I want to remind you of an important truth. It’s one we should constantly consider and acknowledge.
Romans 8:11 says, “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.”
The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives within you! Romans 8:11 declares that He is giving life to your body. Right now, the Holy Spirit has life for you. Other translations say that He is quickening you and making you alive.
The life giving force of the Holy Spirit is within you right now. You do not have to lean on your own strength. You can learn to lean on the life within. Leaning on the life within starts with remembering it is there, acknowledging that life, and listening for the Holy Spirit’s instructions for your daily life. In today’s devotional podcast, I share more about this important topic. Stream it and share it with others that need to hear it.
Remember to pray the daily prayer for 2026 and know that God loves you and His plan for your life is good. After you pray the daily prayer, pause and take time to listen. Always remember, prayer is not complete until you take time to listen. There is peace, safety, and direction in waiting and listening.
