Don’t worry about the wicked or envy those who do wrong. For like grass, they soon fade away. Like spring flowers, they soon wither. Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.

Faith In The Morning Daily Affirmation 🌅

I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles. 

Today’s Devotional 📖

Good Morning,

Although worry and anxiety are normal experiences throughout our world, they are undercover attacks from the enemy to keep you from experiencing the life God has for you. In Mark 4, Jesus compares worry to a weed that keeps His Word from being fruitful in your heart. If you are gardening, you do not handle weeds once. You handle them as often as they show up.

We have to take the same approach and cultivate the ground of our heart by consistently confronting and dealing with worry. In verse 5 of Psalm 37, we are instructed to commit our way to the Lord. That phrase means we are to roll over all our concerns upon God. All of them.

1st Peter 5:5-7 AMPC says, “Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.” The MSG says it this way, “Live carefree before God; he is most careful with you.”

Cast your cares upon the Lord because He cares for you and He always takes care of you in grand style. When you are tempted to be worried or anxious, don’t give in. Take the matter to God in prayer. He loves you and wants to help you! This has to be your approach consistently just like a gardener carefully watches for weeds in their garden.

After you present the matter to God in prayer, you will get the result of Philippians 4:6-8. The peace of God will guard your heart and mind. I share more about this topic on today’s podcast. Today’s Prayer 🙏

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, thank you for loving me. I believe that you have good plans for my life. Help me to develop my faith and become a faith champion. Help me to stay consistent and faithful. Help me to stay focused this week and not envy those who do wrong. Help me to roll all of my concerns upon you and cast all my cares upon you. I believe I am going from glory to glory, faith to faith, and strength to strength. I believe that you love me, that you are good, and that you want to give me the desires of my heart. I trust you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
