Good Morning,

Something good is going to happen to you today! Yesterday, we looked at how the Magi had to prepare so they can follow the star. You might think, “It would be nice to have a star to follow. Maybe a pillar of fire like the people in the Old Testament.” You have something better than a star!

In John 16:13, Jesus said, “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” (NKJV)

You have someone better than a star! You have the Holy Spirit to lead you and guide you into all truth. Romans 8:14-16 says, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father." The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.”

In the same way the Magi followed the star, you have to follow the leading of the Spirit of God. He will lead you through a still small voice in your heart, through peace in your heart, through an inner knowing, and through the inward witness. These ways may not seem as spectacular as a star, but they are just as supernatural.

This week we have focused on being quick to obey the leading of the Spirit of God. Don’t overrule the leading in your heart because it’s not a star. You have someone better than a star. Don’t talk yourself out of God’s leading. He’s leading you to a place of greater influence for 2025. He wants you to thrive in 2025.

I pray that you grant me ears to hear, eyes to see, and a heart to perceive your leading. Grant me further clarity concerning my call and help me prepare for 2025. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
