Faith In The Morning Daily Affirmation 🌅

I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles.

Are you backing down from a challenge? Summer is almost here and it is a perfect time to take another look at our goals for the year! Have you backed away from a goal because it was more challenging than you thought? At the poll below, let me know how you are doing where your goals are concerned. You prayed so much and planned too well to give up on your goals now. Even if your goals seem more challenging than you thought, you shouldn’t give up on them.

In verse 5 of Psalm 37, we are instructed to commit our way to the Lord. That phrase means we are to roll over all our concerns upon God. It also means we are to commit the way we live our lives to the Lord. At the end of last year and the top of this year, so many of us prayed and fasted to get God’s direction for the year. You committed your year to Him and set your goals in that direction. Don’t give up on those goals!

As I was reading Psalm 37:5, I opened the Tehiliim translation. It said, “Commit your way to the Lord, and trust in Him and He will act.” He will act! Praise God!

I looked at the commentary below the verse and one of the commentators said we shouldn’t back down from a situation because we aren’t able to complete it in our own meager strength. The commentator said that we should do our utmost expecting God to handle the rest.

Do your best and expect God to do the rest. Don’t back away from your challenging goal. Face it head on. Ask God for wisdom and insight. Do your part and expect God to act.

Today’s Prayer 🙏

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, thank you for loving me. I believe that you have good plans for my life. Help me to develop my faith and become a faith champion. Help me to stay consistent and faithful. Help me to set and achieve goals in the direction of your plan for my life. I believe I am going from glory to glory, faith to faith, and strength to strength. I believe that you love me, that you are good, and that you want to give me the desires of my heart. I trust you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
