Good Morning,

Even when the world is rocking and reeling, you can achieve true stability. That’s what I want to share with you today. The wisdom of God can help you live steady in unsteady times.

First, I want to highlight our upcoming Imagine Conference at Faith Christian Center. This has truly been a month of open doors, opportunities, and breakthroughs. I want to encourage you to believe for those three things the rest of this month and the rest of this year. When writing concerning praying for wisdom, the Apostle James said, “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 [he is] a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” (James 1:6-8 (NKJV))

As we discovered yesterday, doubting is simply wavering between two opinions. What is one of the set of opinions in this passage? Whether God will give you wisdom or not. When you’re double minded and go back and forth between two opinions, you will live in instability.

When you live with focused faith, following the leading of the Spirit of God, believing God’s promises, and operating in His wisdom, you can achieve true stability. However, this isn’t a one day practice. It must be your lifestyle. It has to be the way you live. As you go and grow, you become more stable.

I love what it says in Isaiah 33:6. It reads, “Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, [And] the strength of salvation; The fear of the LORD [is] His treasure.”
