As for these four youths, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom, and Daniel had understanding in all [kinds of] visions and dreams.

Today’s Devotional 📖

Good Morning,

Happy Wednesday! As we shared yesterday, God wants to grant you wisdom and skill that causes you to advance and rise to the top. In today’s verse, we see that God did that for Daniel and his three friends. If God can do it for them, He can and will do it for you!

Daniel and his friends were taken to a strange land and surrounded with foreign customs, languages, technologies, and lifestyles. However, they still rose to the top. Why? Because they made the firm decision to follow God, their faith was in God, and God granted them wisdom and favor.

We live in a day of rapidly advancing technology and artificial intelligence. Some embrace it. Some shun it. Some do not know what to think and others are afraid. How should we respond to the technological trends of this age?

First, I want you to know that technology and ai are not the enemy. Sure, people can use it to do evil things. However, people can also use it for good. Second, God’s wisdom and the leading of the Spirit can help you correctly use technology and ai. Third, we must learn to keep technology and ai in it’s proper place.

God will show you where technology and ai should fit in your life. He can help you understand it even if you are not “techy.” The understanding you are granted is part of the benefits of the wisdom we have been praying for. Today, pray the daily prayer for 2026 knowing that God wants to give you wisdom and can help you accelerate and advance in this age. After you pray this prayer, pause and take time to listen. Always remember, prayer is not complete until you take time to listen.

In today’s podcast, I share practical tips how to keep technology in its proper place - especially your phone! As you’ll listen you see how you can make sure your smart phone is not running your life and ruining your peace. If you’re reading through the Bible with us this year, your chapter reminders are below. If you want a pdf print out of the plan, click here. Stream today’s podcast and share it with others.
