Today’s Scripture 🍞
Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established.
Proverbs 4:26 (NKJV)
Today’s Devotional 📖
Happy Friday,
It’s the weekend! I hope you have had a great week. I’m preparing my notes for the new Sunday series and Bible Study we will begin at Faith Christian Center in February. On Sundays, I will share, “Navigating the Seas of 2026” and “Built For This” for our Midweek Bible Study. I’ve been thinking about these series for months and I am excited to share them with you.
As we close out the month of January, we will complete our read through Proverbs. The end of January is the perfect time to pause and analyze our lives. A month ago, we enthusiastically set goals full of hope and diligently began to pursue the goals. How is it going?
Sadly, by February, many people give up on their goals or resolutions. Some may not give up, but they stop focusing on them and the goals slip from their minds. Don’t let that be you this year. You took time to pray and plan. Don’t give up. Instead, “ponder the path of your feet.”
Ask yourself these questions today:
Is the way I am living helping to achieve my goals for 2026?
Do I need to adjust my plan to achieve my goals?
Is there a goal I need to reach before I can reach the goals I set?
This weekend, take time to ponder the path of your feet, analyze your goals, and pray the daily prayer for 2026 knowing that God wants to give you wisdom and will help you achieve your goals. After you pray this prayer, pause and take time to listen. Always remember, prayer is not complete until you take time to listen.
In today’s podcast, I share more about pondering the path of your feet where your goals are concerned.. Take four minutes and stream it today. If you’re reading through the Bible with us this year, your chapter reminders are below. If you want a pdf print out of the plan, click here. Stream today’s podcast and share it with others. I’m praying for you!
