So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

Good Morning!

What is your perspective and expectation for today? Psalm 27:13-14 (NKJV) says, “I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!”

Do you expect to be a recipient of the goodness of God or do you worry about being overcome by the pressures of life? In the midst of the pressures of life, we have to maintain a perspective of expectation of the goodness of God. Your mindset and perspective is yours to set.

When we expect to see God’s goodness, it grants us internal strength and fortitude. Simply put, the key to not giving up is expecting to see God’s goodness in your life. As you expect God’s goodness in your life, you will be strengthened, you’ll grow in faith and hope, and you will be amazed at how God’s goodness floods your life and overwhelms the problems and pressures that you face.

Say this with me today, “I refuse to stay in the rut of discouragement and despair. I believe I will see the goodness of God in my life! I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I choose joy. I choose to praise and rejoice. I do not quit. I do not give up. The joy of the Lord is my strength. I am an overcomer. I overcome every problem by my faith in God. I am on the winning side and I refuse to quit or be defeated. Father, I pray that I may be filled with hope, all joy and peace in believing. I thank you for giving me the victory in Jesus’ name, amen.”
