Faith In The Morning Daily Affirmation 🌅

I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles.

Good Morning,

Happy Monday! This is going to be a great week for you! This week, we will complete our read through of Proverbs and Psalms 1-31. On Saturday, February 1st, I want you to join me in reading through the Book of Matthew and Psalms 32- 59. As always, I’ll keep a reminder at the bottom of the newsletter.

2025 is your year to thrive. To thrive means to flourish, prosper, advance, make steady progress, blossom, and grow and develop vigorously. If we want to thrive and fulfill our goals for 2025, we have to walk with the wise. Proverbs 13:20 (NLT) says, “Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.”

To walk with the wise means to stay in stride with the wise. Are you walking with the wise? This is more than just our friendship groups. We have to take time to think about this and ask ourselves questions. As Proverbs 4:26 says, “Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established.” (NKJV).

If you are going to walk with the wise, you should consider the following questions. What are you continually listening to? What podcast is continually playing in your ear? What advice column or blog are you continually reading? Is it filled with wisdom? Who consistently has your ear? Another question to consider is, are you acting on the wisdom that you know? The fool referred to in Proverbs doesn’t act on the wisdom that they know.

You have access to wisdom. James 1 shares that God loves to give wisdom to those who ask Him in faith. Pray the Ephesians 1 Prayer, ask God for wisdom, listen for God’s voice, and act on the wisdom that you have. You can do it! Stay consistent.

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, I believe you love me extravagantly and you have great plans for my life. I pray that you will help me ponder the path of my feet. Grant me wisdom for all the decisions I have to make today. Show me the adjustments that I need to make. Thank you for leading me and guiding me. I will thrive in 2025! In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
