So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

Galatians 6:9 (NLT)

Good Morning!

God has a wonderful plan for your life. Don’t give up because your life doesn’t look like it should yet. When things don’t go our way and we experience unexpected negative circumstances, we can tempted to expect more bad things to happen and fall into a rut of discouragement where we are ruled by our emotions. If you fell like you are in a rut today, I want to remind you of Psalms 27:13-14.

It says, “I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!”

The key to not losing heart, fainting, and giving up is believing that you will see the goodness of God in your life. To wait on God means to confidently expect Him to show up and show out in your life. Don’t believe the discouragement that says you won’t be able to overcome the circumstance you are facing. Don’t believe the lies that say that you will never make it. Today, choose to believe in the goodness of God. As you do, you’ll get out of the rut and walk into the amazing future God has for you.

Say this with me today, “I refuse to stay in the rut of discouragement and despair. I believe I will see the goodness of God in my life! I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I do not quit. I do not give up. The joy of the Lord is my strength. I am an overcomer. I overcome every problem by my faith in God. I am on the winning side and I refuse to quit or be defeated. Father, thank you for giving me the victory in Jesus’ name, amen.”
